Employee training

Training is the essential component of developing human resources since it is the learning process. According to Abbas Z. (2014), training is crucial for an employee's growth in a company since some individuals lack the information, skills, and competences necessary to complete tasks on time. Additionally, training is a learning activity intended to help students acquire particular information and abilities in preparation for a job or assignment. The focus of training is on the work or task, such as the requirement for efficiency and safety when using certain tools or equipment, or the requirement for an efficient sales force, to name just a few (Cole, 2002).

Saleem et al. (2011) claim that training is a planned expansion of the knowledge, abilities, and feelings required for employees to carry out supplied processes effectively as well as to function in subordinate situations. Additionally, training is a very powerful method for inspiring people and transforming them into well-organized, polite individuals, which in turn has an impact on an organization's success.

However, according to Laing (2009), training is a sign of improving employees' superior skills, knowledge, capabilities, and outlook, which leads to improved performance. He also adds one additional point, namely that training increases an organization's capacity for output. According to Singh, training is a crucial tool for enhancing an organization's performance and effectiveness. (Singh and Mohanty, 2012).

Employees are always regarded with development in career-enhancing  skills  which  leads  to employee motivation and retention. There is no doubt that a well-trained and developed staff will be a valuable asset to the company and thereby will increase the chances of their efficiency and effectiveness in discharging their duties. On the other hand, development means those learning opportunities designed to help employees to grow. Development is not primarily skills oriented. Instead it provides the general knowledge and attitudes, which will be helpful to employers in higher positions. Development programs are regarded as specific framework for helping employees to develop their personal and professional skills, knowledge, attitudes, behavior and consequently improve their abilities to perform specific task in the organization.  It provides  knowledge  about  business  environment,  management  principles  and techniques, human relations, specific industry analysis and the like is  useful for better  management of company(Drucker, 1999).
